I've spent the last couple of hours trying to get RC4 of phpRaider installed. Actually, I had installed phpRaid earlier today, when I realized that phpRaider seems to be its replacement. I deleted phpRaid from my site, killed all the old databases, etc. I got through most of the phpRaider installation, when I get stopped at this message:

Database selected.
Unable to find SQL file. Check your absolute path setting.
Unable to find installation configuration file for writing.

I've left all of the settings at defaults (except for my database name and location). I've got a feeling it has something to do with the Absolute path, or possibly the registry URL default location, but I'm not sure what I would change it to.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Yep, you have to know your Absolute path or it won't work (Still not sure why it is needed), and as far as I know, we can't help you with that bit.. contact your host for your absolute path...

May be off the path completely ..
But on my test host that uses PHP as a cgi , rather then a module, I had a horrid time getting phpraider going, same errors. phpRaid worked fine tho.
You can modify it to work, but makes upgrading a bad place.
I identified this, after phpRaider was looking for files in very strange places outside the phpRaider directory.

Hopefully if you are using php as a cgi, you'll know you are.
(some web hosts just do it that way)

phpRaider never looks outside the phpRaider directory.
