You seem to be activated now. Charter memberships take up to an hour to synchronize.

There is mod.. dig around the forums and you can find it...

As stated above, once my account was sync'd, the new thread opened up with the download. It just took a while and sometimes it isn't so easy to be patient ;)

1. BETA is availale to charter members only.
2. I do not know LUA nor do I intend to learn it. Someone created a mod a while back but I'm not sure how well that will work with phpRaider.
3. Currently, the phpRaider source has no license attached. I'm considering my options.

You could try ( and I will try this ) taking one of the mods you find off of http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com and edit them to make it work. But if you have used any of the ones in the past they dont work to well. Also WoW has made it one of there top priorities to keep wow and the net apart. I was working on something like what Spiffy has going here where people would be able to see what is on my site (phpraider) and post stuff on it with out having to leave wow at all. But through my findings in the extensive research I did during programing I found out from one of Bliz. people that they have the game set up so you cant do that. The most you can do is have it connect to your comp. But to get around that you can set it up so the site is on your comp with a connection to the wow interface. It would put you at grate risk tho. and I myself am not willing to do that.

But if you want to set it up so that everyone can upload the lua right from your site and post it to your wow. and have a interface in game yes. It can be done. SO again I will start looking into it and seeing what I can do.

If some one has one set up plz post it so I dont have to do this and we all can save some time.. lol

Hello, SpiffyJr. Thanks for pioneering the raid management system. I have much respect your investment into this project. While I don't agree with paid beta access, I respect your freedom of doing so. I know it's probably too late, but even donations seem to help small projects such as yours, quite surprisingly, I'm sure. As that is beyond the scope of my message, I'll get right to it.

I wanted to comment regarding the licensing issue. I can go all day on this topic, but I'll keep it short. phpraid is released under the GNU GPL and if phpraider is largely based upon the same source, it must be also licensed under the GNU GPL. If you have other plans for it, then I'm certain there are those out there who will be happy to branch the current public code to add more nifty features, adding to its current greatness. I'm sure all of us poor people are looking forward to a public release of phpraid successor.

Kudos,

Marticus

Comments appreciated and shiny. However, I'm pretty sure the code of Phpraider RC3 is not even largely based apon the code of Phpraider Alpha(s). I'm almost 100% certain that spiffy can pick whatever licenseing he wants as the code is undeniably his.

As for your first point...It would not surprise me at all if all the money taken in for 'paid betas' went to pay for this website/server and spiffy was still paying more out of pocket. Have you seen the number of people who visit the site?

No, but I imagine a good portion of the wow guilds are using this system. I imagine there are other similar games where it is also quite popular. I think I would be more inclined to reallocate some of the budget to phpraider if there was a demo site available with admin access.
