I have seen a couple of sites that display the current raids on their home page (portal). These are PHPBB sites. Has anyone got a hack, mod or advice on how to show the raids on the front page of a PHPBB site??

Thanks in advance.

This sounds like a great idea. I haven't heard of any plans to implement this, but you should be able to write your own by querying the database. If I get this done I'll post the code snippet here, i'm fairly busy this weekend though =/

I already do this for our site at www.wowsovguard.com

We use MKPortal for our front page and I did publish some source on this forum.

I took some of Vanterax's work and I have created a simple RSS output for phpRaider. I will post it in its own thread tonight but I imagine with some quick googling you can implement an RSS feed into phpBB quickly and easily (It is already built into SMF/Tiny Portal which is what I use to power my guild website)

I did manage to add this to my phpBB template. This is a bit more complicated than adding it to a portal page. You need to have the eXtreme Styles mod to add php code to template. Since this took changes to number of files to work in my site I will not be posting a code snippet.

I wish you guys would share... I've been trying to get this going myself with not much success.

I've previously used Overview (by SpiffyJr). It's not up-to-date with BC, but a little rework might fix that.
1) Upload the files in Overview.zip to your web-site (remember to place the files in the correct folders).
2) Make a frame on your front page and call Overview.php

I take no credit for this, and as stated above: I don't use it any more, so I don't change it :)

If you're using IM Portal for a phpBB portal, you can go HERE (http://www.integramod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=29753) and create a new block for phpRaider. I created a post explaining how to amend the SQL query for your database's proper prefix. Be sure if you're gonna try this, that you know what you're doing. Otherwise, you're gonna get errors on your page and freak out! It took me quite a bit of troubleshooting before I got it to display correctly.

Demo of it is on the left side of http://thelegacyoflegends.net
