Installation help?

I'm having some issues installing phpraid. I've done the similar installation process with php bulletin boards and can't seem to get this one to work.
I used FileZilla to upload phpraid onto my website; the folder is now on the site and so are all of its contents. When I go to the next step trying to set it up by accessing its location (i.e: www.guild-prophecy.com/phpraid) I get an error, "There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience. We should be back shortly."

Can someone please tell me what I am missing?

Check your username and password for the database and that the user have wirte and create tables permissions to the database?
Only think I can think of atm

after you upload you'll need to go to www.guild-prophecy.com/phpraid/setup.php

You don't need to understand mysql to install this.. the setup script located in the www.guild-prophecy.com/phpraid/install/install.php should guide you through the rest.
